Meaghan Haddix has found her calling at the intersection of mental health research and compassionate community support. As a dedicated member of the Behavioral Health Wellness Environments for Living and Learning (BH WELL) research team at the University of Kentucky College of Nursing, she brings passion and purpose to her work. Her involvement with DanceBlue, a dynamic student-led organization, further amplifies her commitment to making a difference.
DanceBlue is more than just a fundraising event; it's a powerful movement that supports the DanceBlue Hematology/Oncology Clinic through year-round efforts and a legendary 24-hour dance marathon where participants challenge themselves by not sitting or sleeping. When BH WELL and DanceBlue joined forces, they created the perfect platform for Meaghan to share her profound insights into mental health and the critical work of the clinic.
Through this collaboration, Meaghan has been able to shine a spotlight on the importance of mental wellness, bridging research, community engagement, and personal advocacy in a truly inspiring way.
